The Education "Know Your Rights, Use Them"

This past Saturday, at the MIOC premises, we held a community workshop titled "Know Your Rights, Use Them." The workshop was led by Ana Petrović, who shared key advocacy tools with participants and enriched the program with her extensive practical experience.

Ana has been advocating for the rights of the LGBTI+ community and documenting attacks against it for many years, adding depth and inspiration to her presentation. Her practical experiences were crucial in empowering our small but resilient community.

At the end of the workshop, Ana encouraged us to share our personal experiences, whether related to rights violations or challenging everyday situations. We also discussed our expectations from the workshop, and participants expressed great satisfaction and enthusiasm.

We thank Ana for her exceptional contribution and look forward to future collaboration! Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events.

The project titled “Freedom of Assembly as the Heart of the Fight for LGBTI Equality” is implemented by the Tuzla Open Center with the support of the U.S. Government through the USAID Inspire Human Rights Protection Program.
